The Blind Guy started as a Montana-born franchise out of Bozeman, and owner Chris Dunlop joined after being invited in by family and friends. Great Falls is home — it's where Chris wanted to stay and build a business that could genuinely serve his own community. Since 1997, we've been helping Montana homeowners and businesses find the right window treatments, with a reputation built on referrals, repeat visits, and multigenerational clients who keep coming back. Our mission is simple: give every customer a comfortable, informative, and professional experience, from the first estimate to the last install — and we've kept it a family operation the whole way through.

I started The Blind Guy of Great Falls in 1997 and have strived to provide an effortless, welcoming, and comfortable experience that feels tailored to each customer's personal taste and lifestyle.
Joshua Dunlop
Team Member
I joined my father in 2023 after returning home from deployment and finishing my contract with the Montana Army National Guard. My goal is to give every customer a real personal partnership — from meeting you at the door for the first time to leaving your home after installing beautiful blinds that make your house feel a little more like home.

reach out & Consult
Give us a call and we'll schedule an in-home appointment. We arrive with material samples so you can see your options in your own space and talk through the treatments that fit your home best.

measure & Estimate
Once we've found the right treatment, we measure your windows and build an estimate right there in your home — and email you a digital copy whether you order that day or not.

order & Schedule
When you place your order, we let you know the day it arrives in our shop and schedule your installation date.
04
install & Care
On install day, we remove and recycle (or return) your old coverings, install your new treatments quickly and cleanly, and walk you through how to care for them.
